It's been a decent day in Eau Claire! Clear skies and little wind led to a chilly, but nice day. Daytime temperatures dropped and stayed in the lower single digits or subzero single digits, but did not get to the extremes we experienced earlier this week. The cool temperatures were the result of a high pressure system that was moving through the area. Tomorrow is expected to bring warming temperatures with a possibility for snow tomorrow morning. A number of low pressure systems are in the southwestern portion of the country and a stationary front is moving across the country from the Rockies. I'm hitting the lakes tomorrow so hopefully that low pressure system will make the fish a little more eager to bite!
