Wind: Southwest @ 12 mph

Well, it looks like we avoided the snow that was supposed to hit yesterday! The predicted 1-3 inches of snow accumulation did not fall, with very light flurries as the only form of precipitation noticed today. The sky has been fully overcast the entire day so far, with no noticeable break in the clouds yet. Snow is expected to fall sometime after 3:00 PM, this afternoon and continue through the better part of the remainder of the day. This system is moving southeast from upper Minnesota towards the Eau Claire area. Tomorrow should be rather chilly if the wind direction changes as predicted. Around 8:00 PM the wind direction is predicted to change to a northwest wind, bringing frigid polar air down and sending us into another deep freeze! Bundle up!
