Hopefully the first blog of the semester will be the coldest blog of the semester! The high for today is supposed to be around -4°F while the low will get to about -10°F. It has been sunny, without a cloud in the sky for the better part of the day. Snow is expected to move in early tomorrow morning, around 5:00 AM. The map shows a massive high pressure system moving through the area right now, in the form of what I believe is an anticyclone (Thanks GEOG 104!). This could account for the drastic change in temperature expected, from the projected high of -4°F today, to an expected high of 31°F tomorrow. Hopefully that is the case!
