Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow... A weekend of decent temperatures and snowfall has led into an even warmer week with even more snowfall! This weekend we experienced comfortable temperatures and multiple precipitation events in the form of flurries. Starting early this morning warm front and a low pressure system brought a large mid-latitude cyclone to our region of the country, bringing with it a decent amount of snowfall, and impending snowfall. High end predictions estimating a potential for 6-7 inches of snowfall before tapering off this afternoon. We will continue to experience this warming trend for most of the week, with temperatures reaching the high 30s from Tuesday through Thursday. Warm winds from the southeast are helping bring the warm weather to the frigid Midwest!

A nice low pressure system and warm front are pushing through the Midwest currently, bringing warm temperatures and heavy snowfall.

Moderate winds out of the southeast are bringing warm winds and warm temperatures, as well as fueling the mid-latitude cyclone currently hovering over the region.
