Things have cooled down a bit for the Eau Claire area, and will persist through Friday. It has been overcast for most of the day, as we are experiencing decreasing barometric pressure. Winds have persisted for most of the day from the northwest. A chance of flurries is possible this evening. In the next few days we can expect to see a continued trend of single-digit temperatures, followed by a break in the cold Friday, followed by a rise in temperature and a drop in barometric pressure, as more snow is expected this weekend.
