Current Conditions:
Temperature: 21°F
Feels Like: 11°F
Wind: North @ 9 mph
Humidity: 59%
Pressure: 1019.8 mb é

A slight cool down today, but temperatures are expected to rise to finish out the work week. A high pressure dome is pushing through the area currently, though overcast skies are helping to keep temperatures slightly warmer than expected! There is currently a upper atmosphere low pressure trough hanging out above our area, which could descend and bring snow this evening, into tomorrow morning. Temperatures are expected to rise going into Thursday and Friday, and then gradually decrease going into Saturday and Sunday.

Currently, a high pressure dome is affecting our area, with an upper atmosphere, low pressure trough hanging out above the Wisconsin-Minnesota border.

A northern bump in the jet stream is helping to bring some chillier temperatures to the area heading into the weekend. South of us is experiencing decent, mild temperatures.

As stated in the previous picture, a northern bump in the jet stream in the northwest is helping to filter some cooler temperatures to us.

Winds out of the north and mostly cloudy skies are being reported for our area, as a high pressure system to the north is pushing winds away.

This sounding from Minneapolis, Minnesota shows relatively stable atmospheric activity.
